Carlo Cardero-Hidalgo, 42, also was charged with cocaine possession, police said
TRENTON - A Trenton man who crashed his car into two parked vehicles was arrested after he tried to walk away from the scene, police said Friday.
Street crimes unit detectives were on patrol around 1:30 a.m. when Carlo Cardero-Hidalgo, 42, crashed his car into two parked cars on the 200 block of Division Street, Lt. Stephen Varn said.
No one was hurt, but Cardero-Hidalgo was arrested as he was walked away from the collision, Varn said.
Police searched the inside of Cardero-Hidalgo's car and found a baggie of cocaine, Varn said.
Cardero-Hidalgo was charged with cocaine possession, cocaine possession in a motor vehicle, reckless driving, careless driving, disregard of marked lanes and being an unlicensed driver, according to police records.
Bail information was not immediately available.
