organization focused on finding, funding and creating programs to combat poverty, Grounds For Sculpture said in an announcement. He speaks on April 7 at the grounds.

In May 2015, Levy published "They Told Me Not to Take That Job: Tumult, Betrayal, Heroics and the Transformation of Lincoln Center" about the challenges nonprofits face to stay afloat, Grounds For Sculpture said.

Levy previously served as president of New York City's Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts for 13 years where he led a $1.2 billion revitalization during the aftermaths of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks and 2008 stock market crash.

"This has been a transformative year for Grounds For Sculpture as we evolve from a founder-led institution to a self-sustaining one with a greater reliance on public support," Grounds For Sculpture Executive Director Gary Garrido Schneider said in a statement.

Garrido Schneider said "we could not think of a better time for Reynold Levy to visit" as the 42-acre sculpture garden and museum continues to grow.

Recently Grounds For Sculpture expanded its board of trustees by appointing new member Nancy Kieling.

"His book speaks to the critical role the community of donors play in supporting the continued vitality, growth and positive impact of our nonprofits," Garrido Schneider said. "We are honored to serve as hosts for this important conversation."

In addition to being CEO and president of the Robin Hood Foundation, Levy also is a senior advisor to private equity firm General Atlantic, is an adjunct professor at Columbia University's School of International Affairs, a consultant to nonprofits and a director for First Republic Bank, Grounds For Sculpture said.

The sculpture garden said Levy also was elected in 2014 to serve three terms as a member of the Tony Awards Nominating Committee, wrote four books, is the chairman of the board of the Charles H. Revson Foundation, member of the board of overseers of the International Rescue Committee, member of the Council on Foreign Relations, trustee of the National Book Foundation and a fellow in the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.

Levy's visit is part of a Grounds For Sculpture speaker series, hosted in part by the Princeton Area Community Foundation - promoting philanthropy throughout Mercer County.

Levy will lead the discussion on April 7 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased for $25 without a member discount on the Grounds For Sculpture website.

Grounds For Sculpture is located at 80 Sculptors Way in Hamilton.
