A Ewing man crossed the center line on Route 546 around 7 p.m., police said
HOPEWELL TOWNSHIP - Two people were hospitalized after a head-on collision on Route 546 Monday night, police said.
Jason Ulrich, 43, of Ewing, was driving a Toyota Camry east on Route 546 when he crossed the center line into the westbound lane. He collided around 7 p.m. with a Chevrolet Malibu driven by John Murphy, 54, of Hopewell Township.
Ulrich was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton with several non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Murphy was taken to Capital Health Medical Center - Hopewell with minor injuries, police said.
The crash closed Route 546 was closed between Jacobs Creek Road and County Route 579 for about three hours. It is being investigated by Officer James Rosso and Detective Frank Tulko of the Hopewell Township Police Department and Detective Don Santora of the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office, police said.
