Joeryan Foreman, 23, has until April 25 to accept a plea deal that could put him in prison for two decade.
TRENTON - A Trenton man accused of helping cover up a murder by lighting the victim's body on fire, has one month to accept a plea deal that would see him spend just a little over 21 years in jail, according to the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office.
Joeryan Foreman, 23 has until April 25 to plead guilty to aggravated manslaughter in exchange for a 25-year prison sentence, the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office said Wednesday. He would have to spend a minimum of 21 years and three months in prison before he would be eligible for parole.
It's been over a year since Foreman was indicted on charges of murder, arson, robbery and weapons offenses in November of 2014. He is accused of helping Calier Samad, of Trenton, dispose of a body after a murder in January of 2014.

Prosecutors have said Samad shot 22-year-old Trenton man Chevin Burgess to death during a robbery two years ago. Samad and Foreman then drove the victim's body to buy gasoline. They went on to Hart Avenue where they parked and Foreman lit the car - with Burgess's body inside - on fire, prosecutors have said.
Foreman admitted to the robbery and killing in April of the same year, according to prosecutors.
He was originally offered the plea deal nearly a year ago but has not yet accepted it. A superior court judge assigned the cut off date as April 25 at a status conference Wednesday.
