Cassandra Phillips, 39, was jailed in lieu of $15,000 bail after stabbing another woman in the head with a screwdriver, police said.
TRENTON - A Trenton woman was arrested Monday after stabbing another woman several times in the head with a screwdriver, police said.
Cassandra Phillips, 39, was charged with aggravated assault and weapons offenses after she stabbed a 36-year-old woman seven times in the head. Stephen Varn said.
The woman was taken Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton and treated for her injuries. She was later released, Varn said.
The two women had a long-running dispute that turned violent when they met on the 200 block of Perry Street, Varn said.
Phillips was jailed in lieu of$15,000 bail, according to police records.
