A man was shot to death inside a Hamilton Estates apartment Thursday

HAMILTON - Police were investigating a homicide at the Hamilton Estates apartment complex on Estates Boulevard following an early morning shooting Thursday.
Police investigate a shooting death in the Hamilton Estates apartment complex Thursday, March 17, 2016. The Mercer County Prosecutor's Office confirmed that one man was shot to death inside one of the apartments Thursday morning.
More information was not immediately available.
At 8:15 a.m. more than a dozen police cars surrounded the complex and yellow police tape roped off both buildings as uniformed officers stood guard outside the two-story buildings. Detectives entered and exited a corner apartment in the building that faces Estates Boulevard.
Police at the scene declined to talk about the incident.
