The victims were ordered to the floor at gunpoint and then forced into a bathroom while the robbers ransacked the house.
EWING -- A Trenton man has been charged with the home invasion robbery of an 83-year-old Ewing woman and a Comcast employee who happened to be at her home doing work at her house, police said.
Ewing Police file photoTwo men armed with handguns entered the woman's home on Thursday March 3 at about 12:45 p.m. and ordered her and the employee to the floor and robbed them of their cell phones and a wallet, Ewing police spokesman Capt. Rocco Maruca said.
Ewing Detectives were able to quickly link Trenton resident Taquan Jenkins, 29, to the crime and Trenton officers arrested him a few hours later in the 400 block of Pennington Avenue.
Ewing police are trying to identify the second robber, Maruca said Monday.
Maruca said the woman and Comcast employee, a 40-year-old man, were not injured in the hold-up at the residence, in the 1600 block of 13th Street.
After robbing the victims - which included three cell phones from the Comcast representative - the gunmen ordered the two into a bathroom. The robbers then ransacked the woman's house.

The second robber is described by Ewing police as a black male, 5-feet 8-inches to 5-feet 10-inches tall who weighs about 170 to 180 pounds and is in his mid 20s.
Jenkins is charged with two counts of robbery, burglary, criminal restraint and weapons possession charges, including being a felon in possession of a firearm.
In March 2014, Jenkins was sentenced to probation for felony theft and drug charges, records show.
