Bordentown man sold drugs from his apartment, police allege

Officers allegedly found marijuana, crack cocaine, methamphetamine and Xanax pills in the man's apartment in the Southgate and Rydal complex.

BORDENTOWN TOWNSHIP -- Police have arrested a township man on multiple drug charges alleging he dealt narcotics from his place at the Southgate and Rydal Apartments on Ward Avenue.

Officers executed a search warrant at Edward W. Breimann's apartment Wednesday night, arresting the 32-year-old.

Officers then allegedly found numerous ounces of marijuana, a half-ounce of crack cocaine, a half-ounce of of methamphetamine and over 700 Xanax pills, plus $5463.00 in cash, police said.

Police said digital scales and packaging materials were found in the apartment and most of the drugs were found to be individually packaged for sale.   

Police spokesman Capt. Brian Pesce said detectives were investigating Breimann for a month in response to several tips from the public alleging that Breimann was involved in drug activity.

Breimann is charged with several counts of drug possession and possession with intent to distribute drugs. He was taken to the Burlington County Jail in lieu of of $500,000 full bail.

"Township Police will continue to target drug dealers who try to operate in our community and make sure they are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law," Police Chief Frank Nucera Jr. said in a statement.

"commend my officers for their swift and dedicated efforts in addressing these complaints and the teamwork they exemplified in resolving this problem," Nucera said.
