UPDATE: Police identify Kentucky man last seen with missing N.J. teen
HAMILTON - The 13-year-old Hamilton girl who has been missing since after school Monday was last seen with an 18-year-old man from Kentucky she met online, police said Tuesday.
Captain James Stevens said a team of Hamilton police and members of the Mercer County Prosecutor's office are looking for the Dania Hernandez, who never returned home after leaving for middle school Monday morning.
"Everyone is worried about her welfare,'' Stevens said. "Obviously, she's not making good decisions based on her age."
Stevens said the two were seen in Hamilton sometime after school, but declined to elaborate.
Hamilton police around 11:30 p.m. Monday issued an alert for Dania, asking for the public's help locating the girl.
Dania is a Hispanic girl with brown eyes, black hair, with a light complexion. She stands 5-feet, 1-inch, weighs 130 pounds, police said.
