Taylor Green, 22, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, weapons offenses, criminal mischief, making terroristic threats and three outstanding warrants
TRENTON - A Trenton woman has been charged with stabbing a 17-year-old girl in the chest with scissors, police said Thursday.
Taylor Green, 22, was arrested at Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton after she arrived at the hospital for treatment of a cut on her arm she suffered during a fight on Bellevue Avenue, Lt. Stephen Varn said.
Green fought with the 17-year-old, a daughter of an ex-boyfriend, in front of the man's house on the 200 block of Bellevue Avenue around 7:40 p.m., Varn said.
During the fight, the girl was stabbed in the chest. The 38-year-old ex-boyfriend and father of the girl disarmed Green and ran inside to call 9-1-1, Varn said.
Green then smashed out two front windows of the man's house with a fire extinguisher and walked away, Varn said.
The girl was taken to Capital Health Regional, where she was treated for her injuries and released, Varn said.
Green was charged with aggravated assault, weapons offenses, criminal mischief, making terroristic threats and three outstanding warrants, according to police records.
