Dorian Brown faces up to 20 years in prison for intending to distribute heroin
TRENTON -- A Trenton man who was found with 143 grams of heroin and a loaded gun pleaded guilty Wednesday to a drug charge, U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman announced.
Dorian Brown, 36, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute. He faces up to 20 years in prison and a possible fine of $1 million.
Brown had been the target of an investigation by the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office, Trenton police and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration. He was arrested June 4, 2014, after search warrants were served at his home and car, Fishman said.
Police seized about 130 grams of heroin from his Trenton home, where they also found a loaded semi-automatic handgun. Another 13 grams of heroin turned up in his car.
U.S. District Judge Freda Wolfson will sentence Brown on May 17.
