Neal Lubow bought 54 cars from a man in Trenton who provided no paperwork, the Bucks County Courier Times reported.
MORRISVILLE, Pa. - A Pennsylvania man has been arrested for operating a chop shop that received cars stolen out of Trenton, according to reports.
Neal Lubow, 69, of Middletown, Pa., was charged with owning a chop shop and 54 counts of receiving stolen property, the Bucks County Courier Times reported.
The arrest stemmed from an investigation in June when a Trenton police officer spoke with Falls, Pa., police about vehicles being stolen out of Trenton, the Courier Times reported.
At least two of vehicles that were reported stolen ended up in Lubow's Morrisville shop, South End Auto parts.
When police spoke with Lubow about one of the stolen cars, he told them he had received the car from a man who provided no paperwork or title, the Courier Times reported.
Police continued the investigation and found three more stolen cars at the Morrisville shop in August.
Lubow told police during an interview that he had purchased 54 cars from the man on 24 separate occasions and said, "everyone does it," according to the Courier Times.
The man who allegedly sold Lubow the vehicles was arrested in October.
Lubow was arraigned and released on bail.
