Frontier, the only airline that flys out of the Ewing airport, resume its regular schedule Sunday Watch video

MERCER COUNTY - The Trenton-Mercer airport on Sunday reopened and has resumed a regular schedule as Frontier Airlines resumed flights, officials said.

Frontier, the only airline that flys out of the Ewing airport, resume its regular schedule Sunday as Mercer County Executive Brian H. Hughes lifted the county-wide state of emergency around 11 a.m.

Princeton and Trenton previously announced they would lift their states of emergency Sunday too.

While there is no travel ban, Hughes in a statement warned residents to be cautious while out on still snowy roads and thanked Mercer County residents for staying off the roads Saturday, allowing crews to clear them.

Hughes instated the ban on Friday, ahead of the blizzard that dumped more than 2 feet of snow in some parts of New Jersey.
