Workers at the daycare headed up the bottle so much that it burned a child's face when he drank from it, the suit says.
EWING - A local daycare is coming under scrutiny for overheating a baby bottle to a dangerous degree before giving it to a child, according to a lawsuit filed last week.
The suit was filed in Superior Court in Mercer County on behalf of Ellea Mclean, a Guardian ad Litem for a Trenton boy.
In the suit, Mclean claims The Deeper Life Child Care Development Center in Ewing as well as several of their workers are at fault for injuries the Trenton boy sustained at the center nearly three years ago.

In the spring of 2013, workers at the center heated up a bottle to, "dangerous temperatures," the suit said.
When they fed the bottle to the child, his face got "severely" burned, the suit said.
The lawsuit does not specify how old the boy is but says that he is a minor. An attorney for Mclean was not immediately available for comment Thursday.
In the suit, Mclean claims that the workers were not cautious when heating the bottle and feeding it to the boy and that the center itself was negligent in hiring them.
All listed numbers for the center were disconnected and the center could not be reached by message Thursday.
