Bear Tavern Road between Interstate 95 and Sam Weinroth Road will be closed until Friday evening.
EWING -- A major water main break has forced the closure of Bear Tavern Road to all traffic between Interstate 95 and Sam Weinroth Road, Ewing police said late Thursday.
Ewing Police file photo The water main break also caused earlier rush-hour delays Thursday on Interstate 95 in the area of exits 1 and 2, the New Jersey State Police said.
Ewing police initially said the road was closed temporarily, but at about 7 p.m. police announced on social media the closure is expected to last until approximately 5 p.m. Friday.
Police advise motorists to plan accordingly.
