TRENTON - State Police on patrol in Trenton Wednesday arrested and charged three men with possession of 38 bricks of heroin, authorities said.
State Police Troopers arrested and charged Jalen Flemming, 20; Kenney Francois, 24 and Jaquan Vines, 28, around 11:30 p.m. after a traffic stop on the 200 block of North Clinton avenue. Each was charged with possession and distribution of heroin, among other offenses, Sgt. Gregory Williams said.
Vines also was charged with five outstanding warrants. Francois was also charged with a parole warrant. Flemming was also charged with simple assault and four outstanding arrests. Bail information for each was not immediately available, according to police records.

Police smelled marijuana inside the car they were driving and searched the vehicle, finding the heroin. No detail about the car or where the drugs were found was available Thursday morning, Williams said.
There were 10 State Police units making traffic stops in Trenton Wednesday, as part of the Targeted Integrated Deployment Effort, or TIDE, which aims to augment Trenton police.
Troopers made 35 traffic stops, making 11 warrant arrests, seven criminal arrests and issuing six warnings, Williams said.
